The songs on Love Sick were made with a ton of love and recorded in the homes and studios of some of my very close friends. I also painted the cover and had a super time doing so. These songs were written mostly while I was living alone in the mountains, where it was snowing at the time. Then I moved back to my sunny, familiar hometown of Hollywood to record. There is a quietness to these songs, which was later answered by my next and more upbeat CD: Butterfly Core. They are very different...but the same: two sides of a little coin. These are honest and simple story songs, totally from my heart. My Kind of Day and Tonight are my favorites here. I hope you'll have a favorite or two as well. Thank you. Love, Blanca.
